Are you planning to go on a hunt soon? While the experience may be thrilling, it’s important to take good care of your game. Not only do you need to show respect to your trophy, but also preserve the memory of the hunt with a majestic mount.

Freeze your game as soon as possible. In case you have a bear you want to mount, the body should be skinned immediately. Carefully bag it in plastic, and freeze it. Remember, don’t roll the hide of your bear!

Don’t gut your bird or put it into a game pouch. Bring your bird to our taxidermists immediately or freeze it in a plastic bag. You'll need to tuck the head under the wing and slide it into a position that allows the feathers to remain as flat as possible.
